The ACS-517B is used with a Model 2500 and will fit on the bottom shelf of the 2500 mobile cart. This is a fully enclosed compressed air supply with an air dryer and sound muffling cabinet. This system is ideal for in Lab use because the sound level is less than 70 decibels. The Model ACS-517B has a hose hold down on top for ease of storage.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
To provide the Model 2500 Humidity Generator with a clean, dry air supply and to give the laboratory a noise level that's acceptable for the lab technicians to carry on with their calibrations.

This 1/2 HP ACS-517B has an oil-less air supply and can run with a continuous pressure of 175 psi with a maximum ambient air temperature of 40 °C at a continuous duty of 6,000 hours before a minor maintenance service kit is required.
UTILITIES
You can receive the ACS-517B system in ether 120V~ 60Hz and 7.5A or 200-240V~ 50Hz and 5A depending on your needs.
ORDERING INFORMATION
When ordering a new air compressor system, part number ACS-517B, you will receive a 25 foot air hose extension, a ten foot removable AC power cord, and the enclosure with an air compressor. If you already have a Model 2500 humidity generator with a compressor, and you only need to order the enclosure, specify part number ACE. In addition, you will need to specify your power requirements by adding a -R for regular domestic power of 120V, or if high voltage is needed then specify a -H for the 220V unit. If you need to order a compressor only, specify part number GH517B.
